How To Edit A SimpleGrowth Email Document In Keap
- Go to the "My Automations" area and click on the "Advanced Tab"
- Next fill in the word "Document" to do a search.
- You need/want to access documents from "CLIENT DOCUMENT" automations only.
- Then open the required document automation by clicking on the 3 dots.
- Inside the campaign, there are 3 columns.
- The column in the middle is the one that we'll be working on, to edit the email documents.
- Look for the blank area, left-click once and pull the page up.
- Click on the green sequence boxes one by one, they'll be labeled as the highlighted text below:
- "S02 Send Email HCD-UP-E1" - for email document 1
- "S03 Send Email HCD-UP-E2" - for email document 2
- "S04 Send Email HCD-UP-E3" - for email document 3
- Please note: HCD-UP-E1 is the email document code for Deep Cleaning Upsell. This code (HCD) will always be different for different upsells and automations.
- After clicking on the green sequence, click on view & edit.
- Inside the sequence, there is an email with Send Email HCD-UP-E1, under it.
- Click on the green email and then click on view & edit. This will take you to the page where you can make changes to the content.
- Once you are finished editing, Keap automatically saves.
- Go Back and then Go Back again. (you need to go back, using the back button with the application)
- Repeat the above steps for:
email 2 "S03 Send Email HCD-UP-E2" - for email document 2"
email 3 "S04 Send Email HCD-UP-E3" - for email document 3"
- Most of our upsells have 4 email documents, the 1st three are client/lead facing email documents.
- The 4th email document contains a Ticket and an Internal Notification Email (if you are using MaidCentral, you will not need these items as they are for Keap)
- Once you are done making the changes, please click on Publish, which is towards the upper right-hand corner. It'll tell you that you are good to go and all elements listed will be checked in green. If the internal tasks and email notifications are turned off, Keap will tell you two elements are not ready. This is ok. Click on Publish button again.
- Please note: You need to click the Publish button after making any changes to the email document, if you do not do that, the changes won't be effective in the automation.
